Gunwhale Ales is happy to host your private party, reception or events.  It is a great opportunity for us share our dedication as well as have you celebrate your occasion with great beer. We have a few different options available to meet your needs, and pricing reflects the various options. Please see below and then send us a request through the button at the bottom to book your event.

Your group can have food brought in or delivered as well as ordered from the food trucks we often have on site. We can do tours of our facility, schedule a dedicated bartender for your event, and help you to plan food and snacks. We have held networking events, baby showers, birthday parties, engagement and rehearsa; dinners, homebrew club meetings, and more. Please reach out for further details.


The patio

Seats up to 40

Our outdoor patio is normally seating available to our regular customers. You may reserve it for your party however we must request a minimum charge for your rental. The patio has bench and rod iron chair seating as well as handmade stump tables we found from eucalyptus that was cut down for fire prevention. We have a few umbrellas to provide shade and outdoor lighting hangs above for warm evening lighting. 


The barrel Room

Seats up to 30

Our barrel room is an intimate venue with barrels of beer aging on wild yeast for real production. The space has a long table with seating, a drink rail for comfortable standing room, and a window that opens to our patio for natural light and fresh air. There is a charcoal mural done by our Co-Founder Bobby Fitzgerald and a peek-a-boo window to our bar and tasting room. We have music, A/V possibilities, and we are open to your ideas to make your event the best we can. 


the whole taproom

We are closed on Mondays, so this may be the best day to do this, but you can also buyout the whole taproom for your event on any day. We of course must cover the cost of otherwise lost sales and inconvenience to our normal customers. But for a unique experience, we would love to try and accommodate you.
